About This Blog

Welcome to the Attic Cat's Atelier!

This blog is the honest-to-goodness record of my journey into game development.

I'm a mom in my 40s from South Korea. With no background in coding and facing health issues that made regular work impossible, I found myself searching for a way to build a future for my two children. After trying (and failing at) many popular side hustles, I realized my true passion lay in creating worlds, not just observing them.

That's when I decided to make a game.

This blog is my devlog. Here, I share the entire process—the exciting breakthroughs, the frustrating bugs, the lessons I learn while teaching myself Unity and C#, and the story of creating a cozy match-3 game with the help of my AI assistant, Gemini.

My goal is not just to build a game, but to show that it's never too late to learn something new and chase a dream, no matter what challenges you face. I hope my story can inspire someone else out there who feels stuck.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure. Let's build something wonderful together.
